                                                                  settlement construction, David was tragically
                                                                  killed on  4th September,  1938. While on a
                                                                  mission  in  Emek  Bet  Shean,  his  jeep  went
                                                                  over a landmine laid by the Fedayeen, killing
                                                                  him and two others.
