programming, and a symbol of renewal. We see each
other as a patchwork of people, backgrounds,
ideologies, and visions for the future. By coming
together we create something greater than the sum of
its parts, something that is shared and beautiful.
We wanted to share this news with you all because we’re
excited that we have a new name, and we hope to inspire
the younger kvutzot not to keep your ideas of a
traditional kvutzah but to imagine and dream of new
possibilities. Just as in a patchwork quilt, it isn’t
obvious that the different patches go with one
another. But, we made the active decision to put the
different patches together of this kvutzah, and to
become a stronger group with a clearer identity.
