KIBBUTZ PARTY IS NOT JUST FOR FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS
GALE force winds and lashing rain failed to dampen the high spirits of 124 people who gathered at
Kibbutz Mevo Hama to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Habonim’s Garin Chet.
The three-day event, on the Golan Heights, attracted former Garin garin chet&friends, 50 yr reunion and
beyondChet members from Britain, Australia and Nova Scotia, among other places.
Glaswegians Jackie Collins and David Harrison attended from Down Under and Canada’s Nova Scotia,
respectively.
The one thing, organisers didn’t think they would have to worry about was the weather.
