Date of Aliyah: I was born in Israel – I was on shlichut for HDNA and
it got me thinking about the way of life I wanted in Israel when I came
back. In the March before I came back Ruth asked me if I would like
to live with her in a kvutsah, and I said I’d think about it. I thought
more and eventually it actually happened!
Describe Location: Ramat Gan – Big house with a beautiful roof,
complete with a roof-garden and a view of Park Hayarkon, Bnei Brak and my college. Close to our
house is Andre’s ice cream parlour which is open 24 hours a day and has more or less became
part of our house. It’s also cool to live close to Kvutsat Keshet.
Favourite Socialist / Zionist. Why? AD Gordon. Even though we live very different lives than
him or how he thought we should live, I still think that his ideas raise a lot of questions relevant
to our lives in Israel as a kvutsah
Funniest Movement Moment: Ruth’s weekly Friday night dinner joke when she talks to the

Vision for the new Kibbutz Movement… I want to see many kvutsot in Israel working with the
different movements around the world and doing things in Israeli Society as educators and
generally helping Israeli Society i.e. As a human rights lawyer which is what I am working on
becoming.
