This has been a really tough year and a half or so since
Corona started making our lives HARD. What are good
ways to cope with burnout to keep up the movement
energy?
“It’s so incredibly important (and also radical) to take
care of yourself! So go to therapy, take walks or some
other form of movement, speak with friends, and sleep.
Remember, self-care can easily become capitalist and
all about spending money on being hot, so avoid that
and find strength in community and mindfulness. A
solid half an hour of meditation and a chat to a loved

It feels increasingly hard to be on the left and label the
movement as Zionist. What are ways to negotiate the
nuance and tension around Zionism in radical circles?
How should the movement educate chanichimot within
this tension?
“It's a really tough question. I'm not necessarily sure if
there's a good answer or if we even need to take
ownership over those spaces if they are conditional on
us denouncing our Zionism. I think the most important
thing first of all is to recognise that progressive
Zionism is radical. It's an ideology that is totally
compatible with the left. You really have to believe that.
I think the rest from there onwards is about
confidence. Being able to stand strong and proud
within those spaces as a Zionist even if there is
