Hello Educated_fool,
I mostly definitely do not want to tell you what to
               believe!!

I think it’s important to remember that things are
confusing in this 2021 world. And ideological beliefs
and trends haven’t escaped that confusion. In the last
year or so I saw that scary Netflix documentary about
social media (the Social Dilemma, I highly recommend
if you want to wake up sweating from nightmares for a
week or so). One of the things that I took away from
the film was that our world is incredibly radicalized
towards polar extremes, and that we’re constantly
inundated with images that confirm those radical
viewpoints. It’s not to say that you need to decide
exactly where you’re at and can’t choose an extreme,
you can if you want, but I think it’s good to spend
some time swimming in the confused waters of not-
sure, and I wouldn’t rush to pick a label. Sometimes we
choose labels to signal to other people that we’re like
them, and it’s okay to not be there, even if it means not
fitting nicely into the molds of what you see around
               you.

To be honest when I was in college I floated between
different labels, beliefs, and identities. I felt a lot of
confusion because my questions rarely fit in with other
people’s questions, specifically outside of the
movement. I was all into thinking deeply about the
Jewish people, and I wasn’t sure that there was an
interesting conversation going on that wasn’t about the
occupation. I remember someone calling Israel a white
