ERRATA
We apologise for the following mistakes that appeared in the last issue. They were brought to
our attention by David Chester, who has prepared this:
#1 In our previous issue of our journal, Vol.5, No.3, on page 31 the two pictures of the farm
residential buildings have had their names reversed. The David Eder farm or Chava had the
bay windows and chimney locations as in the right-hand photo, which is wrongly titled "Hurst
Grange". Presumably, the left-hand photo was actually that place (which agrees with a similar
picture in the "Habonim in Britain 1929-1955" – our history book). The appearances of these
two buildings have some remarkable similarities, but they were not the same.
#2 The photograph above these two pictures of the Ringlestone, Kent Hachshara is exactly the
same as that on page 12, (which also wrongly is titled "Hurst Grange"). The later, modernised
version, that is apparently of the same building shown on page 16. However, it looks like
something completely different, since it is unlikely that such big alterations to the roof were
made. This lowered surface now apparently takes on the second floor, having a gabled window
instead of the roof being above it as shown in the previous version.
