EDITORIAL
Dear readers,

I’m glad that you’ve chosen to while away a few of your
precious moments in the company of the latest issue of
Iton Habonim Dror – the online newsletter connecting the
youth movement around the world with its graduates in
Israel.

It’s another issue packed with profiles, articles and reports
that are designed to titillate and inspire in equal measure.
We feature an article on our sister movement, Hanoar
th
Haoved VeHalomed which is celebrating its 96 birthday, a
report on the recent seminar run by HDUK (with a special
guest appearance from Lucy Travis) and a piece by Gabe
Freund just before he travels to HDOZ for the year.

And on the topic of current affairs, we reprint a piece on
the frailties of the free market in the age of corona. The
article claims that without government intervention and
public money, we’d probably still be without a vaccine, with
no end in sight to the pandemic.
